Planning a fun group experience or corporate event and have questions?
You’re in the right place!
Whether you're curious about pricing, dietary accommodations, virtual class options, or how many guests we can host, this FAQ page covers it all. We’ve made it easy to get the details you need before booking your cultural cooking class with us.
1. What types of cooking classes do you offer?
We specialize in cultural cooking classes, including Spanish Paella, Puerto Rican cuisine, Italian pasta-making, and more. Our experiences are designed for team building, private parties, and corporate groups.
2. Do you offer private group or team-building cooking classes?
Yes! We offer private cooking classes for corporate events, team building, birthdays, and other group celebrations.
3. How many people can attend a group cooking class?
Our minimum is 14 participants for private bookings. We can accommodate up to 24 guests depending on the class type and set-up. For smaller groups, please reach out and we’ll do our best to accommodate.
4. Where are your cooking classes located?
We host our in-person classes in Midtown Manhattan, 210 East 43rd Street, New York 10017. The studio is easily accessible by public transportation.
5. Do you accommodate dietary restrictions or allergies?
Absolutely! Many of our menus include gluten-free, vegetarian, and vegan options. However, please note that we are not a nut-free kitchen and cannot guarantee safety for guests with severe nut allergies. If you have any dietary concerns, let us know in advance we’ll do our best to provide a safe and delicious experience.
6. How long are your cooking classes and what do they include?
Most experiences last between 90 minutes to 2.5 hours. Each class includes hands-on cooking, all ingredients and tools, and cultural decor. We also offer appetizers and a welcome drink with some packages.
7. Do you offer virtual cooking classes with meal kits?
Yes! We offer one virtual class called “A Taste of Spain,” where we ship paella meal kits nationwide and host a live cooking experience via Zoom. It’s a fun and interactive option for remote teams or long-distance celebrations.
8. How far in advance should I book a cooking class?
We recommend booking at least 2–3 weeks in advance to ensure availability especially for larger groups or custom events. Last-minute requests are welcome if space allows.
9. What’s the price per person for a private cooking class?
Our rates start at $165 per person, plus an 18% event production fee. Final pricing may vary depending on group size, class type, and any customization.
10. Are drinks included in the class?
We offer one complimentary welcome drink (wine or a signature cocktail) as part of the experience for private group events. While guests are welcome to bring their own beverages, please note that we do not allow hard liquor or pre-mixed cocktails on the premises. BYOB is permitted for beer, wine, and sparkling beverages only. We do not sell or serve alcohol, and our classes are private, invite-only events.
11. Can I book a class for just one or two people?
At this time, we specialize in private group experiences and team-building events, so we do not offer individual bookings. Our classes are designed for groups of 14 or more. However, if you’re interested in joining a future public class or being notified when smaller group options become available, feel free to join our mailing list or contact us directly!
