"Promoting healthy eating and nutritional awareness for all ages," with the use of cooking demos and nutritional workshops, Coqui the Chef™ encourages the value of daily nutrition and well-balanced meals by introducing healthy choices and providing useful information on various types of food from all over the world. Today, childhood diabetes and obesity are increasing like never before. Children consume more processed and fast foods, which puts their health at a disadvantage from an early age. Alarmingly, even babies are being diagnosed as clinically obese, and they are likely to develop with Type 2 diabetes as adolescents. What our children eat can continually help them become and stay at their healthiest state. At Coqui the Chef™ our mission is to reduce obesity and diabetes in children.
